For the last week and a half Biology 2 students have been working on a cell museum by completing the creation of a giant scale model of a eukaryotic plant cell. The cell which is in reality only a few micrometers in diameter has been magnified to fit into a 162 inch space. Biology 2 students will be creating videos on their assigned organelles using the iPads. Sophomores in Biology I will be taking the museum tour when they learn about organelles and cell function in class. These students will use the videos and the model to help them as they go on a cell scavenger hunt to solve a case study to determine which organelle is malfunctioning.
