Link to Climate Change Simulation
Cimate Change Simulation
Instructions: Run the simulation for the three scenarios. Summarize your findings.
Read the article discussing the projections by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Consider the environmental impacts for the scenarios provided. Also consider social factors. Address the following questions.
Climate Change Article
1. Is it possible to stop global warming. Why or why not?
2. According to the article, what environmental impacts will likely occur due to the projected increases in global temperature.
3. What factors need to be taken into consideration when looking at a plan to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change? Play the game at Climate Challenge and discuss how these factors interact.
4. Why might countries that are still developing have a more difficult time reducing emissions than developed countries?
5. What were the limitations of the models used in this report?
